A Portfolio Site Built to Carry High-Resolution Work
The challenge
The firm's existing site was slow to load its project galleries, had no organized way to browse by project type or scale, and wasn't generating the inbound inquiries the partners expected given the quality of their built work. Most traffic came from referrals checking the site before a first meeting, so it acted as a credibility filter more than a lead source.
Our approach
We rebuilt the site with an image-first project grid, optimized media delivery so full-resolution project photography loaded quickly on both desktop and mobile, and added filtering by project type — residential, commercial, hospitality — and scale. An inquiry form was placed contextually on individual project pages rather than only in the main navigation.
Outcomes
Start a project- Average load time for project galleries dropped from 6.2s to 1.8s
- Inbound inquiry form submissions increased by 45% over the following quarter
- Average session duration on project pages more than doubled
