Replacing Spreadsheet Dispatch with a Custom Fleet ERP
The challenge
Dispatch planning, driver assignment, and fleet maintenance tracking were all managed across separate spreadsheets maintained by different team members, which made it difficult to get a real-time view of vehicle availability as the company expanded into new cities. Errors in manual dispatch assignment were causing avoidable delivery delays.
Our approach
We built a custom ERP module covering vehicle and driver assignment, live dispatch status, and maintenance scheduling, replacing the spreadsheet workflow with a single system the dispatch team could see in real time. The system integrated with the company's existing quote/booking web app so dispatch data flowed from bookings automatically instead of manual re-entry.
