A Packaging and Menu System for a Growing QSR Chain
The challenge
The chain's packaging and in-store menu boards had been designed outlet-by-outlet as it expanded, with no shared template — new locations were reprinting inconsistent signage and packaging suppliers were producing different specs per store. Menu changes required redesigning materials for each outlet individually.
Our approach
We built a single packaging and menu-board system with modular templates any outlet manager could populate for local menu variations, plus a standardized supplier spec sheet to keep print quality consistent across vendors. Menu board hierarchy was redesigned around the chain's actual best-sellers, based on POS data the client shared.
Outcomes
Start a project- Reduced new-outlet signage setup time from 3 weeks to 5 days
- Standardized packaging cut per-unit print costs by 12% through consolidated supplier ordering
- Menu board redesign contributed to a reported 9% lift in average combo-item attach rate
